To apply online:

1. Complete your application form for ALPS Language School. Submit the online form.
2. If you need housing, complete the homestay application. Submit the online form.
3. Submit payment of application fee for ALPS and homestay application fee to ALPS. You can pay online by credit card via our secure server connection or you can mail or fax your fee to ALPS.
4. Mail or fax your financial documentation/bank letter.
5. If you are already in the U.S. print a Transfer F-1 Status Verification Form and give it to the designated school official at your current school. This applies only to students transferring to ALPS from another school in the U.S. If you are not already in the U.S. you do not need this form.

To apply by mail or by fax:

1. Complete your application form for ALPS Language School and print it.
2. If you need housing, complete the homestay application and print it.
3. Complete and print the credit card authorization form.
4. Mail or fax:
1. your completed application forms
2. your credit card authorization form or other form of payment (Click on "Pay Application Fees" above.
3. your financial documentation/bank letter.
4. If you are already in the U.S. print a Transfer F-1 Status Verification Form and give it to the designated school official at your current school. This applies only to students transferring to ALPS from another school in the U.S. If you are not already in the U.S. you do not need this form.
5. If you apply late, please use a fax or express delivery from your country and include the extra fee for us to send your school documents by express delivery.

After you apply:

When we have processed your application we will contact you. After your acceptance you will be sent your admissions documents including your I-20 if you are applying for an F-1 student visa.

Get the appropriate visa. Most students have an F-1 student visa. Contact the Director of Admissions if you have questions.

Arrange travel to the United States and arrive in Seattle at least three days before your classes begin.

Health insurance is required for full-time students. Student health insurance can be purchased through ALPS.

When should you pay?

Only your application fee should be paid with your application. Your tuition and fees for each session are due in full on the first Monday of the session. Homestay application fees are due with your homestay application. Your monthly homestay fee is due on the day you arrive. Pay your host directly. If express delivery is necessary, you are responsible for the extra charges.
