individualized private lesson is the most efficient way for the
professional to learn the English specific to his or her job and
the general English that everybody needs. Combines group and private
lessons or study only private lessons.

Part-time
courses are available to fit the schedule of people who do not
have a student visa. Group classes include speaking & listening
classes, reading & writing classes, and TOEFL and TOEIC preparation
classes. Part-time private lessons are also available. See the

student and private teacher are enjoying one of Seattle’s
many sidewalk cafés. Free conversation is an excellent
way to increase fluency. Individual field trips to stores,
restaurants, museums are a unique feature of our system. The
students experience authentic English in real-life situations. |

Convenient
Schedules
ALPS offers year-round courses. Courses begin every
four weeks. It is possible to study for just one
four-week session or for many. Courses are counted
in periods. A period is 50 minutes of instruction
and 10 minutes of break. Sessions which include
a holiday have 1 fewer day of group lessons and
